Why not come and see us at Wyndham Park Grantham. The Grantham and District Model Boat Club meets most Sunday afternoons 1.00pm onwards.
The Grantham Model Boat Club has been in existence since 1968 and since moving to
Wyndham park in the town centre, has thrived, and at present has over 60
members. The club water is a converted outside swimming pool which has
been turned into a purpose built boating lake 57 m long by 16-25 m wide
and a uniform 1.2 m deep. It has its own toilet block and tea/coffee making
facilities The club interests are Scale, Fast Electric, Yachting and Steam.
I.C. ENGINES ARE NOT PERMITTED
The main aim of the Grantham Model Boat Club is to promote model boating to
the public, especially the youngsters and also to enjoy the hobby. We are a
fun club.
Membership runs from January 1st for a year and is Adults £15-00, Seniors £12-00,
Juniors £5-00.
